In Search of the Dao · Where the Clouds Embrace the Pines

第二站：问道青城山 - 苍山翠影，云深不知处。

Amid emerald peaks and drifting clouds, the IAK Cultural Delegation from Switzerland ascended Mount Qingcheng — a sacred cradle of Chinese Daoism — to seek the wisdom of the Dao.

The mountain, shrouded in mist and melody, seemed to breathe in rhythm with the ancient teachings of harmony between Heaven and humanity.

IAK瑞士亚洲文化协会参访团一行踏访青城山，问道中华道教圣地。

山色空蒙，松声如琴，恍若天地自成呼吸，一切皆在“天人合一”的气韵中舒展。

We were deeply honored to be received by Venerable Zhang Mingxin,

Vice President of the China Daoist Association, President of both the Chengdu and Qingcheng Daoist Associations, Dean of the Qingcheng Daoist Academy, and Abbess of Jianfu Palace on Mount Qingcheng.

Graceful yet resolute, Venerable Zhang embodies the quiet strength of the Dao — her presence as serene as the mountain mist, her words imbued with clarity and compassion.

此行有幸拜会张明心道长，

她现任中国道教协会副会长、成都市道教协会会长、青城山道教协会会长、青城山道教学院院长，并主持青城山建福宫道务。

道长温雅而坚定，语调清澈，神采宁静，

正如青城山云岚深处的一缕明光，透出道的柔韧与慈心。

Amid the whispering pines and distant cranes, we spoke of Daoist philosophy —

of simplicity, balance, and the harmony of all beings.

Her insight transcended formality; it was a dialogue of hearts —

on how Daoist wisdom can illuminate the challenges of our modern world and restore the inner stillness often forgotten by progress.

在松风鹤语间，我们与张明心道长畅谈道教文化之精髓，

探讨“大道至简”的心法，体悟平衡，和谐的自然之道与内在之境。

她以娓娓之言启人深思——在纷扰的当下，何以守一？何以归真？

原来，道，不在远处，而在心中那份清明的宁静。

Before we left, Venerable Zhang shared a message that deeply touched us all:

she urged us to keep our hearts open to all beings, to transcend race and borders,and to continue our cultural work with compassion and sincerity —

to bring harmony, understanding, and healing to the world through culture.

She also presented us with Qingcheng tea and hand-crafted prayer beads —

symbols of peace, purity, and infinite compassion —

a gift that carried both her blessing and the quiet fragrance of the mountain itself.

临别前，张明心道长赠以真诚嘱托：

她勉励我们敞开心胸，为众生而行，不分种族，不设界限，

以慈悲与真心继续我们的文化事业，让文化成为连接、疗愈与启迪的力量，去帮助更多需要光与温度的人。

道长还赠予我们青城茶与编织的手串，象征清心与圆融，承载着她的祝福与青城山的灵韵——一份慈悲与慷慨，如山水之心，温柔而深远。

After our visit with Venerable Zhang, we continued to Dujiangyan —

the ancient water conservancy project that has sustained life in Sichuan for over two millennia.

There, where mountains meet rivers, we saw how human wisdom flows in harmony with nature.

It was as if the Dao itself had taken form —in channels and streams that still nourish the land,embodying the eternal principle of balance between Heaven, Earth, and humanity.

拜访完张明心道长后，我们一行又前往都江堰水利工程参观。

那是两千多年前的智慧结晶，至今仍泽润巴蜀。

山与水在此相遇，人心与自然相通——

仿佛道之精神在此具象化，在涓涓清流与分水鱼嘴之间，展现出“天人合一”的永恒之理。

This visit was more than cultural exchange —

it was a quiet pilgrimage of the heart.

To stand on Qingcheng Mountain, where sages once sought the Dao,

is to feel the pulse of eternity beneath one’s feet,

and to realize that the same spirit flows from the mountains of Bashu(Sichuan) to the valleys of the Rhine, uniting East and West in timeless breath.

此次参访，不仅是一场文化交流之旅，更是一场心灵的归程。

立于青城山麓，仿佛能听见古圣先贤的回响。

那股穿越千年的道脉，从巴蜀青山延绵至莱茵河谷，让东西方在呼吸间同频共振。
