When Qingming Meets Easter

Updated: Jun 27

April 5, 2026, is a rare day.

On this day, Qingming Festival and Easter fall together.

They don’t meet every year. But sometimes, in spring, they do.

One is about remembrance.

The other is about renewal.

Different traditions, different expressions—yet they point to the same human experience:

how we face loss, and how we continue living.

Qingming is quiet.

People visit graves, remember those who have passed, and reflect on where they come from.

Easter is brighter.

It celebrates new life, and the belief that endings are not final.

They are two ways of holding the same truth: that life continues.

Most of the time,we experience these moments separately.

We remember. Then, slowly, we move on.

But sometimes—like this spring—they arrive together.

And when they do,they remind us:

we can carry the past, and still step into something new.

Spring is not just about beginning.

It is about continuing.
