Culture is not sustained by preservation alone. Books may be collected, classical texts studied, and digital archives created—but for culture to remain alive, there must be a new generation willing to understand it, practise it, and carry it forward.
In this rapidly changing age, cultural transmission is more important than ever. The future depends not only on what we preserve today, but also on whether young people are given the roots and freedom to make this knowledge part of their own lives.
文化的延续，不能只依靠保存。我们可以收藏书籍、研读经典、建立数字馆藏；但文化若要真正活下去，还需要新一代愿意理解它、实践它，并继续将它传递下去。
在这个迅速变化的时代，文化传承比任何时候都更加重要。未来不仅取决于我们今天保存了什么，也取决于年轻人能否获得文化的根基与成长的空间，使这些知识真正进入他们的生命。
From Preserving Knowledge to Nurturing People
从保存知识到培养人
IAK Culture Association Switzerland is dedicated to the preservation, interpretation, and contemporary transmission of classical wisdom from both Eastern and Western traditions. Yet preservation is only the beginning. Knowledge needs people who are willing to understand it, and tradition needs people who are prepared to continue it.
For this reason, IAK Academy is concerned not only with knowledge, but also with the growth of the whole person. Based on the educational concept of IAK “New Six Arts+”, it encourages young people to establish a shared cultural foundation while developing their own interests and strengths.
瑞士 IAK 文化协会长期致力于东西方经典智慧的保存、阐释与当代传承。然而，保存只是开始。知识需要有人理解，传统需要有人承接。
因此，IAK 书院所关注的，不只是知识，更是一个完整的人的成长。书院以 IAK“新六艺+”教育理念为基础，帮助年轻人在建立文化根基的同时，发展各自的兴趣与专长。
Different Paths, Shared Roots
道路不同，根基相通
The IAK Young Scholars Programme brings together high school and university students from different cultural and academic backgrounds. Their fields include digital business management, multilingual and intercultural dialogue, audio engineering, and music.
They do not need to become the same kind of person. Some connect people through language, some explore the possibilities of digital knowledge, while others express culture through sound and music. Different strengths can grow from the same cultural foundation.
“Young Scholar” is not a title intended to define achievement too early. It represents a continuing journey of learning, inquiry, practice, and shared growth.
IAK 青年学者项目汇聚了来自不同文化与学习背景的高中生和大学生。他们的专业方向涵盖数字商业管理、多语言与跨文化对话、音频工程及音乐艺术。
他们不需要成为同一种人。有人以语言连接不同文化，有人探索数字知识的可能，也有人通过声音与音乐表达文化。道路各不相同，却可以生长于共同的文化根基之上。
“青年学者”并不是一个过早定义成就的称号，而是一段持续学习、探究、实践与共同成长的旅程。
Transmission, Not Performance
传递，而不是表演
The purpose of cultural work is not to keep one person at the centre of the stage. What matters is whether meaningful knowledge can be understood and passed on, and whether the next generation can continue the journey in its own way.
I do not need to perform everything myself. What I have learned through years of study, practice, writing, and intercultural exchange should gradually be shared with the next generation.
Education is not the hurried shaping of a person. It is the patient care of a seed, allowing it to grow towards the light according to its own nature.
文化工作的目的，不是让一个人始终站在舞台中央。真正重要的是，有价值的知识能否被理解、被传递，下一代能否用自己的方式继续走下去。
我不需要凡事都由自己来表演。多年来在学习、实践、写作与跨文化交流中所理解和积累的，应当逐渐传递给下一代。
教育不是急于塑造一个人，而是守护一颗种子，让它按照自己的天性，向光而生。
Towards the Future
走向未来
May young people see the world with open eyes, carry culture within their hearts, and walk a path that is truly their own.
So that culture may be understood, knowledge may be carried forward, and the path may continue into the future.
愿年轻人眼中有世界，心中有文化，脚下有自己的路。
让文化有人理解，让知识有人承接，让未来有人继续前行。
