“Essence of Serenity and Splendor” – Chinese Aesthetics of Living Exhibition Opens in Bern, Switzerland

A poetic encounter of tradition and modernity—The China Cultural Center in Bern presents the “Essence of Serenity and Splendor – Chinese Aesthetics of Living Exhibition” (Aug 23 – Oct 25), in collaboration with the Prince Kung’s Palace Museum.

一场古今交融的美学对话——瑞士伯尔尼中国文化中心携手恭王府博物馆，于8月23日至10月25日呈现《安善萃锦——中式生活美学展》。

On August 23, 2025, the China Cultural Center in Bern, Switzerland, welcomed the opening of the “Essence of Serenity and Splendor – Chinese Aesthetics of Living Exhibition”, presented by the Prince Kung’s Palace Museum. Within the galleries, refined artifacts and poetic spaces intertwine, unfolding the spirit of Eastern aesthetics of living. Entering the exhibition feels like stepping across time, where the gentle charm of tradition evokes both serenity and joy.

2025年8月23日，瑞士伯尔尼中国文化中心迎来了恭王府博物馆《安善萃锦——中式生活美学展》的开幕。展厅中，古雅器物与诗意空间交织，东方生活美学的精髓在此徐徐展开。步入其中，仿佛跨越古今，温润的气韵在心间流淌，让人倍感宁静与喜悦。

Jointly organized by the Prince Kung’s Palace Museum and the China Cultural Center in Bern, Switzerland, the exhibition runs from August 23 to October 25. Guided by the theme of “serenity and goodness,” and symbolized by the imagery of “splendor gathered,” it weaves together traditional craftsmanship, literati elegance, and living aesthetics, showcasing the continuity and creativity of Chinese culture in the present day.

本次展览由恭王府博物馆与瑞士伯尔尼中国文化中心联合主办，展期自8月23日至10月25日。展览以“安善”为旨归，以“锦萃”为象喻，将传统工艺、文人雅趣与生活美学融汇一体，展现中国文化在当代的延续与创造。
